COBALT BLUE returns to Brighton and goes one better than last time to get his career off the mark.

The three-year-old son of Sioux Nation has been quietly improving this season, coming second over C&D a couple of weeks ago, and he enjoyed a first turn in the winners enclosure today. Paternoster Square set the early pace with COBALT BLUE racing prominently on the outside. As they entered the home straight David Egan launched his challenge, winning the lead within the final 110yds and running on for a 1¼L success.
