DASHING DARCEY flies home at Lingfield Park, to get his career off the mark at just the third attempt.

The two-year-old son of Muhaarar put in a fine performance last time out over 7f, beaten only a neck. But he made no mistake today, stepping up to 1m and getting his career off the mark with a taking performance. Breaking smartly, he enjoyed a lovely trip into the race before showing a smart turn of foot to surge clear in the final furlong and pass the post 4L the better of the field.
