The daughter of Dubawi has been second on her last four starts including at Hamilton last time out when she chased home Mistiroc, a subsequent winner of a competitive handicap at Haydock last week.
She made every yard of the running under Jack Mitchell, striding out well to win by over three lenghts.
Roger said: "Almashooqa has bumped into some useful types in maiden company and thoroughly deserved this first win.
"She stays well and we shall probably look to step her up to a mile and a half next time."
It was almost a very good day as Go Sakhee went down narrowly in the 1m2f handicap at Sandown and Khatiba was also a runner-up at the Esher venue.
