The daughter of Arcano raced professionally throughout and was always to the fore under Hayley Turner.

She travelled smoothly before taking over the running on rounding the final bend. The favourite Diamond Ridge mounted a challenge and the pair were neck and neck approaching the furlong marker.

Faddwa was headed with 100yds to run but battled back gamely to win by half a length.
