FONDO BLANCO and SPHERICAL land a quick-fire cross-card double, with respective victories at York and Kempton.

FONDO BLANCO ran with credit on his debut at Newbury last month, shaping nicely and overcoming early greenness to hit the line well for 3rd. The Ten Sovereigns juvenile built on that promise today at York, pulling away with the runner-up inside the final furlong and staying on nicely under James Doyle to land the 6f Novice contest by just under a length.

Congratulations to King Power Racing.

Just a short while later it was the turn of SPHERICAL at Kempton Park. The two-year-old daughter of Blue Point was a winner on debut, and second on her most recent start at Chepstow. We were delighted to see her back in the winners enclosure today, with a gutsy performance under Jack Mitchell that saw her having to dig deep to hold off strong challenges inside the final furlong.

Congratulations to owner/breeders Cheveley Park Stud.
