FRENCH DUKE sheds his maiden tag, landing the opener at Goodwood, and DEBORA’S DREAM makes it two on the bounce under Aidan Keeley at Sandown!

FRENCH DUKE got his career off the mark in fine style under James Doyle in today’s opening contest at Glorious Goodwood. The three-year-old son of Sea The Stars ran with credit on his last start at Royal Ascot, and there was certainly a lot to like about his performance this afternoon, in first-time headgear - making up ground in impressive fashion to win the 1m4f ahead of John and Thady Gosden’s Lord of Love.

Congratulations to connections Wathnan Racing.

Meanwhile at Sandown Park, DEBORA’S DREAM made it back-to-back victories with a game performance under Aidan Keeley, finding plenty when challenged up the straight to win by just under a length.

Congratulations to connections Opulence Thoroughbreds!
