A son of New Approach, Hasheem ran well on debut at Newmarket last autumn but failed to act at Chester on his first start of 2013.

Back on a conventional track Hasheem travelled strongly before running out a ready three-length winner under Dane O'Neill.

Roger said: "He is a big colt with a long, galloping stride. This track suited him and I hope he is the type to improve with racing."
