Derby runner up KING OF STEEL proves too good in The King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Just three weeks after a thrilling run in the Epsom Derby, KING OF STEEL had our hearts racing again with a sensational victory in the G2 King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot. Despite racing keenly and initially held up at the rear under Kevin Stott, the three-year-old son of Wootton Bassett bounded clear 2f from home, staying on smartly to beat O’Brien’s Continuous by over 3L.
Huge congratulations to Amo Racing and connections. What a horse!
