The son of Elusive City has won at Warwick and Haydock already this season and again showed great battling spirit to win under Dane O' Neill.

Dane set off at a decent pace up front allowing Kohlaan to use his long stride. He gradually upped the tempo up the straight but he was there to be shot at with a furlong to go with many of his rivals looming up going well.

However, Kohlaan stuck his head out and found more repelling all challenges to win by a neck.

Roger said: "Kohlaan is improving and takes his races well. He has really rallied gamely and it is great that he has landed a hat trick."
