A son of Elusive City, Kohlaan won at Warwick earlier in the month and he backed up that win with a convincing victory today.

Andrea Atzeni made every yard of the running on the 13/8 favourite. He gradually increased the tempo and many of his rivals were at full stretch with two furlongs to run.

Kohlaan kept responding to Andrea's urgings and he ran out a game winner by a length.

Roger said: "This track suited him as he has a long, galloping stride. He is improving and was given a lovely ride."
