LADY OF SPAIN maintains her perfect record, returning to the track and winning in pleasing fashion to make it 3/3.

The Phoenix Of Spain filly won her sole start at two in eye-catching fashion, pulling away from the field for a 4L success over the extended mile at Wolverhampton. She backed that up with a C&D win on seasonal reappearance back in March, and we were delighted to see her shrug off a 233-day absence this afternoon at Southwell to extend her unbeaten record. 2f from home she was left with plenty to do, but she found her way through the field under James Doyle, travelling to the line in determined fashion to take up the lead in the final half furlong.

Many congratulations to connections Mr Leon Boros, and Mr Richard and Mr Stuart Marchant.
