LADY OF SPAIN maintains her perfect record, making it four-from-four and a first Black Type success in the Listed Prix Petite Etoile at Deauville.
The three-year-old Phoenix Of Spain filly just keeps getting better and better, and a step up into Listed company proved no trouble as she cruised away for a 3L success at Deauville this afternoon. Racing over 1m1½f, Lady Of Spain settled nicely in behind the leaders of the 16-strong field. As they turned for home, Christophe Soumillon made his move down the outside and Lady Of Spain responded readily, powering into the lead and staying on strongly in the final furlong.
Congratulations to connections, Mr Leon Boros and Mr Richard and Mr Stuart Marchant.
Oh she's very good! The unbeaten Lady Of Spain leaves them well behind at @fgdeauville and makes it four from four for @varianstable... pic.twitter.com/mMqjkIlVU2
