The son of Cape Cross was having his second start for us having been bought by Alan Spence at the Tattersalls Horses In Training Sale.
He was second over the same course and distance a fortnight ago and seemed sharper for that run when racing fluently int he hands of Jim Crowley.
Crowley always had the perfect position on the heels of the leaders and Mindurownbusiness showed a sharp turn of foot to strike the lead up the straight.
The runner-up Sovereign Debt came with a late rattle but Mindurownbusiness was always in command and passed the post three-quarters of a length to the good.
Roger said: "He probably just needed the run last time out and travelled much better today. We may look at the Lincoln trial at Wolverhampton for him."
