A strong-finishing OKAMI gets his career off the mark at Chelmsford.

The three-year-old son of Showcasing was last seen finishing third at Doncaster, but he made no mistake today with a confident performance under David Egan. Racing in touch with leaders in the early stages of the 6f contest, he waited until the home straight to launch his challenge - finding his stride within the final furlong to run on and clinch the prize within the final few strides.
