Three-year-old SOLAR ORBITER denied a penalty to post an impressive five-length success under Jack Mitchell at Kempton racecourse, making it two on the bounce for connections Flaxman Stables.
The Showcasing colt was sharply away from the gate and led briefly before getting a nice lead through the race from outsider Woe Betide. As they neared the 2f marker, Jack Mitchell lit the gas and in a style akin to his debut, SOLAR ORBITER surged away from the field, showing a tremendous turn of foot to maintain his unbeaten record.
Congratulations to owner/breeders Flaxman Stables, there looks plenty more to come from this exciting prospect.
Unbeaten colt Solar Orbiter does precisely what a 1-3 favourite should do in the 6f novice stakes @kemptonparkrace under @Mitchelljack77@varianstable's 3yo son of Showcasing is a powerful individual and looks well above average on this evidence 💥 pic.twitter.com/eu4UcKuI60
